Back in the fall of 2007, I William Boulton was diagnosed with having relapsing remitting Multiple Sclerosis. Fighting what the doctors had quoted, which was unknown to me, “he could not make it”; I spent many months challenging myself to where I could once again walk, talk, taste, see, feel and hear. During the whole ordeal I had overwhelming support from many friends and loved ones, whom some themselves have Multiple Sclerosis.
After a few months of surprising many people including the physiotherapists and doctors, I was discharged from the Red Deer Hospital. Still not steady on my feet and my voice changing everyday, (you know something is up when your own mom asks, “Who is this?” on the phone); I began immediately writing a book about my experiences over the last year.
The mission of the book is to give people an idea of what Multiple Sclerosis can do, what can happen and no matter what happens to never give up on hope and always, always keep on fighting! Now being years later and never having a relapse or any other health issues, business has been moving in the right direction. After trying many injection drugs, I thought it was best decided to stop all treatment and attempt a much healthier life making sure to always put my body first. In regards to the book, its planned release is in the fall or winter of 2011. It has been decided that the profits from the book are to be donated to multiple charitable organizations.
